Finalists for Glam Hunt
ProPassion Communications’ six-week campaign to create awareness about YUBERACTIVE -an online medium between youths and global brands - ended on a high note with their “Glam Tour Party” on April 15.
Hosted by the Sem 6 Diploma in Communications students in collaboration with external company MyPartners, the party lived up to its prior promise of a fun-filled, glitzy affair.
Over 200 guests dressed to the nines based on the theme of the night - ‘Glamour’ – showed up at the event held at Temptations Restaurant.
The highlight of the night was the “YUBERACTIVE Glam Hunt Competition” finale where contestants had to answer a host of questions and go around scouting for votes from the audience.
School of Communication student Victor Kuan who was a prominent crowd-favourite from the start clinched the grand title of Taylor’s ‘Most Glamorous’ person while the first and second runner-up titles went to Lee Jian Quinn and Tang Ching Huei respectively.
All three winners bagged almost RM1000 worth of prizes inclusive of PLAYBOY, Adidas, RIMMEL London and Montague Jeunesse products courtesy of StarAsia (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
Aside from the Glam Hunt finale, winners from their concurrent blogging competition namely Chenny Wulandari, Cheryl Lee and Lee Jian Quin were also announced.
Not wanting to leave out their guests, party-goers were given the chance to win prizes throughout the night by participating in the search for the “Most Glamorous Couple”, “Most Glamorous Pose” and “Most Glamorous Outfit” titles.
Guests were treated to an assortment of performances ranging from a sultry salsa dance routine, an impressive beat boxing show and pulsating performances by rising local bands, ‘Janice and the Supertank’ and ‘Decimal’.
When asked about his thoughts on the event and the campaign, Operations Director of proPassion, Eric Chan said, “I have gained a priceless experience working with this team on the campaign”.
This event was made successful in collaboration with MyPartners Communications and supported by official sponsor StarAsia Malaysia, and official Make-Up RIMMEL London.
